This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Piedmont of North Carolina
and the mountains of western North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A cold front tracking across the western Carolinas and northeast
Georgia on Thursday will bring mostly rain to the area, but cooling
temperatures may result in a change to a wintry mix in some places
Thursday evening. This could result in slick patches on roadways
overnight. Little to no accumulation is expected through Thursday

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Light snow will continue into Friday across much of the forecast
area. Snow accumulations should remain light west of the I-77
corridor, with locations east of I-77 seeing the best chance for
accumulating snow. Little to no ice accumulation is expected for this
