This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, the
mountains of North Carolina, and the lower Piedmont of South
Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon across
the lower Piedmont of South Carolina, northeast Georgia, and parts of
the central and southern mountains of North Carolina. The main
threats will be cloud-to-ground lightning, gusty winds, and brief
heavy downpours. The thunderstorms should taper off by sunset.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
