This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today through Monday

An upper level disturbance will move across the region late tonight
and Monday. Increasing moisture and instability will develop
scattered to widespread shower and thunderstorms from late this
evening through most of Monday. Locally heavy rain and flash
flooding are possible especially along and south of interstate 40.

Isolated severe storms are possible across southeast Tennessee and
southwest North Carolina Monday afternoon with the main threat
being damaging winds and torrential rains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Saturday

No hazardous weather is expected.


Spotter activation may be needed Monday. Please relay any
information about severe weather to the NWS while following local,
state, and CDC guidelines.
