This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop and move through
the area late this afternoon through tonight, then taper off
around or just after midnight. A few strong to severe storms will
be possible during this period. Damaging winds are the main
threat, though large hail up to an inch is also a low risk along
with a very low risk of a tornado.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A wet pattern is expected into the middle of next week. Some
flooding issues will be possible particularly Monday night through
Wednesday when 1.5 to 3 inches of rain is expected areawide.
