This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Piedmont and northern
foothills of western North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Numerous thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening.
Dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning and gusty winds are possible
with any of these thunderstorms. A few of the storms may become
severe, producing damaging winds and hail up to 1 inch in diameter.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.


Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information about
observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state,
and CDC guidelines.
