Scattered thunderstorms will develop today, with the greatest coverage expected in the mid-afternoon to early evening timeframe. Cloud-to-ground lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds will be possible with any of these thunderstorms. A few of the storms may become severe, producing damaging winds and/or large hail greater than 1 inch in diameter. A tornado cannot be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
