This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered to numerous mainly afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms will be capable of producing locally heavy rain and
isolated damaging wind gusts through the weekend, especially on
Saturday. Localized flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas
will be the main threat.

Swells from distant tropical systems Josephine and Kyle will likely
produce an enhanced risk of rip currents early next week.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
