   High Surf Advisory.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A complex and slow moving coastal low is expected to impact Eastern
North Carolina this weekend. Details are still uncertain, but heavy
rainfall, strong winds, dangerous surf, coastal flooding and ocean
overwash are possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...ROUGH SURF AND MINOR BEACH EROSION CONTINUES FOR THE BEACHES
NORTH OF CAPE HATTERAS...

.Breezy northerly winds will continue into this afternoon, bringing
rough surf north of Cape Hatteras and elevated water levels and
minor coastal flooding along the southern Pamlico Sound.
Conditions will improve later this afternoon.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City has
cancelled the Coastal Flood Advisory.

* HAZARDS...Rough surf, minor beach erosion and overwash possible
  for the beaches north Cape Hatteras.

* LOCATIONS...Outer Banks.

* TIMING...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon.

* SURF HEIGHT...5 to 8 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area, producing localized beach erosion and
dangerous swimming conditions.
