Showers and thunderstorms may move out of East Tennessee and southwest Virginia and push into the North Carolina mountains tonight or early Thursday morning. Cloud-to-ground lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds will be possible with any of these thunderstorms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast Thursday afternoon and evening. A few of them could produce severe weather, in the form of damaging wind gusts and large hail. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed.
