expected tonight through early Saturday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Extreme cold will develop early next week with wind chills at
least 40 below.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 35 below expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Minnesota and
  northeast and southeast North Dakota.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
  Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
  exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
