...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS FOR MOST OF WESTERN AND MUCH OF
CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA THROUGH THIS EVENING...

.A cold front will continue to move through western and central
North Dakota with strong west to northwest winds up to 45 mph and
gusts to 75 mph expected into the evening. Relative humidities
are expected to drop as low as 18 percent late this afternoon into
early this evening. When combined with the very strong winds, critical
fire weather conditions will remain into this evening for most of
western and much of central North Dakota.

THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MOST OF
WESTERN AND PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA...

* WINDS...Northwest 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 75 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 18 percent.

* AFFECTED AREA...Most of western and much of central North
  Dakota.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
  difficult to control or suppress.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

* WHAT...West to northwest winds to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Much of north central North Dakota and portions of the
  James River Valley.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...There could be some damage to roofs, small outbuildings
  and signs. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Visibilities may be reduced at times in
  blowing dust.
