Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

Heat impacts are expected today, with heat indices into the lower
100s in the Red River Valley. Lingering wildfire smoke may impact
sensitive groups.

There is a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather this evening.

Locally heavy rain may lead to excessive runoff in northeast ND
and northwest MN, particularly in poor drainage and urban areas.

There is a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather Saturday
afternoon and evening.

There is a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather Sunday

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
