AFTERNOON TO 6 AM MDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 1 and 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...In Nebraska, Banner County and Kimball County. In Wyoming,
  East Laramie County.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 6 AM MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could reduce visibility and lead
  to slick road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rapidly dropping temperatures this evening
  may lead to a flash freeze.

southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

- A powerful storm system will bring strong winds, rain changing
  to snow, and a flash freeze leading to potential travel
  impacts mid afternoon through the evening hours today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

- Much colder and breezy conditions continue Wednesday with a
  few snow showers and lingering blowing snow issues possible.

- A windy period is expected from Thursday through Monday, with
  mostly dry weather on tap for most days and the best chance
  for precipitation on Saturday.
