An Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect until 7 pm. The strong winds will also persist with gusts of 40 to 45 mph likely. A Wind advisory is in effect until 8 pm for much of eastern Nebraska today. A few strong to severe storms are possible in northeast Nebraska this evening. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary hazards. Rain and thunderstorms are likely on Monday evening along a stalled front. Some severe weather is possible as is heavy rain and localized flash flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday night through Sunday The front will linger in the area for much of the upcoming workweek, leading to repeated showers and storms.
