This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Late tonight, between midnight and sunrise Saturday, there is a
small chance that a few weak thunderstorms could affect Nebraska
portions of the outlook area north of Interstate 80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

For a short time after sunrise Saturday morning, a few weak
thunderstorms will remain possible for Nebraska portions of the
outlook area north of Interstate 80.

Limited chances for thunderstorms enter the picture for much of
the outlook area between Sunday afternoon and Monday afternoon.
Although the risk for severe storms appears low, a few strong
storms cannot be ruled out Sunday afternoon or evening.

Actually, the biggest weather concern over the next week will be
a prolonged stretch of hot temperatures. Every afternoon from
Saturday through Thursday is currently expected to feature heat
index, or feels like temperatures, of at least 100 degrees for at
least some portion of the area. However, the overall-hottest days
look to be Tuesday through Thursday, with widespread heat indices
of 100 to 105.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation should not be needed through tonight.
