A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to move northwest to southeast across most of the area tonight. The primary threat is for wind gusts of 60 to 70 MPH, although isolated instances of large hail are also possible. The threat for severe weather will end by 2am. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Thunderstorm chances return Wednesday for the evening and overnight hours, especially for areas south of Interstate 80 and into north central Kansas. Some of these storms may be strong to marginally severe, and also produce heavy rain. Thursday is expected to remain dry for much of the area, with off and on chances for thunderstorms returning Friday through next Tuesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... At 141 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Stockham, or 22 miles southwest of York, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
