This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Friday

Strong northwest winds will diminish this evening with a hard
freeze expected tonight. While vegetative growth is minimal in
many areas, locations along and south of a Lincoln to Clarinda,
Iowa line may have some vegetation that could be vulnerable to
sub-freezing temperatures. A freeze warning is in effect for those
locations from 1 AM to 9 AM on Friday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday night through Thursday

An intense storm system will affect the region this weekend. A few
thunderstorms are possible on Saturday afternoon and evening. Rain
is expected to change over to snow across northeast Nebraska on
Saturday night into Sunday with a rain-snow mix developing as far
south as I-80. Highest snowfall accumulations are expected across
northeast Nebraska where several inches are possible. Strong north
winds will usher a much colder air mass into the region on Sunday.
The winds combined with the heavy, wet snow could result in some
tree damaging and power outages.

If you are traveling on Easter Sunday, stay tuned for updates
concerning this potential winter storm.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
