...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Nebraska, including the following
  county, Lancaster.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 517 AM CDT, This is causing urban and small stream
    flooding as reported by trained spotters. Up to 1 inch of
    rain has fallen.
  - Low lying areas of 48th Street are experiencing minor
    flooding. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lincoln, Holmes Lake Park, Lincoln Airport and Pioneers Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A round of strong to severe thunderstorms will move across the
area this morning. Damaging winds, hail as large as quarters, and
tornadoes will all be possible. Another line of storms will move
through this afternoon, with low potential for strong winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is possible tonight and early Tuesday.
