Several inches of snow are likely, with the heaviest amounts in far southern Nebraska. There is a 70 to 90% chance for areas along and south of Interstate 80 to get at least 4 inches of snow. Very cold temperatures are expected Tuesday through Thursday. Wind chills of -15 to -25 are likely in northeast Nebraska, and only slightly warmer in areas farther south. There is a 40-60% chance for measurable snow Friday night into Saturday, but confidence is low in amounts. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Total snow accumulations between 5 and 7 inches. Some blowing snow and reduced visibility is also possible with winds gusting 20 to 25 mph to blow the very fluffy snow. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Iowa and southeast Nebraska. * WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
