This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Northwest winds gusting up to around 25 mph combined with
afternoon and evening relative humidity values falling to around
25% will result in elevated to near-critical fire weather
conditions across portions of the area today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions are expected Wednesday
through Friday due to the combination of relative humidity
falling to around 25 percent or lower, and winds gusting at least
15 to 20 MPH.

More active weather is expected later this week into the weekend.
Intermittent thunderstorm chances return to various parts of our
area between Wednesday night and Saturday. A few strong to
marginally severe storms will be possible Thursday into Thursday
evening.

As colder air arrives into our area this weekend, snow will be
possible Saturday night into Monday. However, it is far too early
to have much confidence in the the likelihood of accumulating
snow, let alone amounts.
