Northwest winds gusting up to around 25 mph combined with afternoon and evening relative humidity values falling to around 25% will result in elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions across portions of the area today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions are expected Wednesday through Friday due to the combination of relative humidity falling to around 25 percent or lower, and winds gusting at least 15 to 20 MPH. More active weather is expected later this week into the weekend. Intermittent thunderstorm chances return to various parts of our area between Wednesday night and Saturday. A few strong to marginally severe storms will be possible Thursday into Thursday evening. As colder air arrives into our area this weekend, snow will be possible Saturday night into Monday.
