This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Gusty winds this afternoon will result in blowing snow and some
reductions to visibility.

Moderate northerly winds will continue overnight and lead to wind
chills falling to -10 to -20 degrees for the entire area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Another round of widespread snow is forecast to overspread the
area Sunday night into Monday morning, and continue on at least a
light basis all the way through Tuesday or Tuesday night. Total
snow accumulations during this time of at least 2 to 4 inches are
likely, and locally higher amounts will be possible. Winter
weather headlines for this next round of snow will likely be
issued later today or tonight. The snow will be dry and fluffy in
nature and subject to at least minor blowing and drifting Monday
night into Tuesday.

Prolonged dangerous cold air and wind chill temperatures will be
of the utmost concern for much of the upcoming week. Wind chills
of -15 to -35 degrees are expected during the entire time frame
between Monday night and Thursday morning. Folks are encouraged
to take action this weekend to protect pets, livestock, and
buildings susceptible to frozen pipes this weekend!
