This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

The area is in a slight risk for severe storms tonight. The best
threat areas will be along the Nebraska and South Dakota border,
and across southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Areas in the
Platte River valley across eastern Nebraska may have the lowest

and Clark Lake and from around Plattsmouth downstream past Rulo.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

There is a small chance of non severe thunderstorms southeast of
Interstate 80 Sunday.

Hot and humid conditions are forecast for Monday afternoon and
Tuesday afternoon. Heat index values could reach around 100 to 105
across parts of southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

There will be a chance for thunderstorms for at least portions of
the area from late Monday night through the mid part of the week.
Later outlooks will address the potential for severe storms in
those periods.

Minor flooding should continue on the Missouri River above Lewis
and Clark Lake and from around Plattsmouth downstream into
Missouri.
