This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Maine, south central Maine,
southwest Maine, west central Maine, western Maine, New Hampshire,
central New Hampshire, northern New Hampshire and southern New
Hampshire.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Northwest winds will strengthen behind a strong cold front today
with the potential for a few gusts to around 40 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Another low pressure system will bring a period of mostly rain this
weekend. However, precipitation may begin as a period of snow,
especially in the mountains where light accumulations are possible. A
brief period of freezing rain could also occur in the mountains
Friday night. While rain and snowmelt will cause rises on area
rivers...widespread significant flooding is not expected.
