...ENHANCED RISK OF WILDFIRE SPREAD TODAY...

Low afternoon relative humidity levels, windy conditions, and dry
fine fuels will create an elevated risk for the spread of
wildfires across the area. Minimum relative humidity values will
be near 30 percent with wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph expected.
Residents are urged to exercise caution in handling any potential
ignition source.

For more information about wildfire danger, burn restrictions,
and wildfire prevention and education, please visit your state
forestry or environmental protection website.

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Central and southern New Jersey, the Philadelphia
  metropolitan area, the southern Poconos, the Eastern Shore of
  Maryland, and Delaware.

* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 7 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power outages may
  result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
