...A LIGHT WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TUESDAY MORNING
THAT COULD CREATE ISOLATED SLICK ROAD CONDITIONS...

A cold front has moved through the area and temperatures will
steadily decrease tonight to below freezing along and north of
Interstate 20. A light wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and
snow will develop Tuesday morning that could affect the morning
commute. Fortunately, only a few hundredths of an inch of
precipitation is expected with the biggest impact in Lea County
and the northwestern Permian Basin where temperatures will drop
into the lower 20s. Road conditions should improve Tuesday
afternoon as temperatures increase above freezing.
