This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast New Mexico,
southwest Texas and western Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

There is a low chance (10-20%) for thunderstorms in the Permian
Basin and Lower Trans Pecos this afternoon and evening. A
thunderstorm or two could become strong to severe with strong winds
and hail the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a low risk (10-40%) of severe thunderstorms Thursday from
southeastern New Mexico to the Permian Basin. Any severe thunderstorms
that may develop will be accompanied by large hail and/or damaging
winds. An isolated tornado can not be ruled out as well.

High winds are possible Monday, mainly in the Guadalupe and Delaware
Mountains.

Critical fire weather conditions are possible Saturday into Monday
from southeastern New Mexico to the Big Bend.
