This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of north and central
New Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Sunday, critical fire weather conditions are expected in the
afternoon across the east central plains, where wind gusts up to 40
mph are expected with very low humidities. Gusts up to 50 mph are
forecast around Clines Corners, but humidities should remain above 15
percent there.

Thursday night through Friday night, a vigorous storm system with a
Pacific moisture tap is forecast to cross from the west and northwest
with the potential for a few to several inches of snow accumulation
in the mountains and at lower elevations of north central and western
New Mexico. There will also be a risk of very strong southwest
winds in many locations.
