This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of north and central
New Mexico.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A seasonable stretch of windy conditions will set up over New Mexico
Monday through Thursday of next week. While occasional afternoon
gusts of 30 to 40 mph will be common each afternoon, areas along and
just east of the central mountain chain may exceed these speeds,
reaching 45 to 55 mph.

Along with the strong winds, dry conditions will also be fairly
widespread Tuesday through Thursday, especially in eastern New Mexico
where critical fire weather conditons will be possible.
