This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of north and central
New Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Near record to record heat is expected today over much of central and
eastern New Mexico. A few thunderstorms this afternoon and evening
may become strong to severe with damaging downburst winds the main
threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Warmer than normal temperatures will continue Saturday before cooling
down a bit next week. A few strong to severe thunderstorms are
possible Saturday and Sunday over portions of northeast and east
central New Mexico with the main threats being damaging downburst
winds and hail.
