MOUNTAINS, AND CENTRAL HIGHLANDS, DUE TO STRONG WINDS, LOW
HUMIDITY, AND HIGH FIRE DANGER...

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING FOR THE MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY, SANDIA AND
MANZANO MOUNTAINS, AND WEST CENTRAL BASIN AND RANGE DUE TO STRONG
WINDS, LOW HUMIDITY, AND HIGH FIRE DANGER...

.Strong southwest to west winds today will combine with very low
relative humidity continuing critical fire weather conditions,
with the highest fire danger in the southern portion of the Middle
Rio Grande Valley where there will be up to ten hours of single-digit
relative humidity. A Pacific cold front will pass through late in
the day dropping temperatures and increasing humidity. Another
round of gusty west to northwest winds will create critical fire
weather conditions in south-central and southwestern areas again
Monday afternoon. A stronger Pacific cold front will move through
the area Monday and there is a low chance of gusty virga showers
with its passage.

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag
Warning...which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Monday.

* AREA AND TIMING...Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124) until
  9PM MDT and Monday afternoon from 12PM to 8PM MDT.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest to west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts
  up to 50 mph today then west to northwest 20 to 30 mph with
  gusts to 45 to 50 mph Monday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...8 to 13 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.
