.NOW...
At 350 PM MDT...National Weather Service Radar indicated isolated
mountain based showers and thunderstorms were continuing to
develop. Movement of these storms was slowly to the north at 5 to
10 mph. Brief periods of light to moderate rainfall, small hail
and wind gusts up to 45 mph will be possible near these storms.
Some blowing dust may accompany outflow winds in the deserts.
Further development of showers and thunderstorms is expected for
the next several hours.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
New Mexico, southwest New Mexico, and southwest Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and
this evening. Outflow winds will be the main threat this evening
with any storm that materializes, with perhaps some blowing dust.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Isolated to scattered mountain storms and isolated lowland storms
will be possible each afternoon and evening hours. Brief heavy
rain and gusty winds will be the primary threats with the
strongest storms along with blowing dust with some storms.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
