This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central New Mexico,
southwest New Mexico and southwest Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon and evening mainly in the Gila region and south into the
New Mexico Bootheel. Some of these storms could produce locally heavy
rain and flooding along with hail up to a half inch in diameter and
wind gusts over 40 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Isolated thunderstorm chances will continue mainly for the mountains
and areas west of the Continental Divide through Tuesday. These
storms are not expected to be severe but could produce locally heavy
rain, small hail and gusty winds.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
