Including the cities of Las Cruces, Vado, and Sunland Park

A cluster of thunderstorms moving south through Dona Ana County
have created some strong outflow winds. These winds will move
across Las Cruces and much of southern Dona Ana County over the
next hour. Expect winds gusts of 35 to 45 mph. Winds will slow by
2 AM MDT. Also some brief heavy rain could follow the winds as the
thunderstorms themselves move across the region.

New Mexico, southwest New Mexico, and southwest Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms across the Gila Region, with iso to sct
elsewhere. Locally heavy rain and breezy to gusty winds the main

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

We`ll start seeing a decrease in the way of thunderstorms through
the end of the week across much of the area. Isolated pockets of
moderate to heavy rain the main threats.

Spotter activation will not be needed today, but reports of any
significant weather are appreciated.
