...LAKE WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PDT TUESDAY
FOR LAKE TAHOE...

* CHANGES...Removed the higher wind speeds and waves that ended
  Monday morning.

* WHAT...East winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Waves 2
  to 3 feet with highest waves from mid lake to west shores.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...Until noon PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone
  to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until
  conditions improve.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a
sudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing
boating activities on the lake until a day with less wind.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PDT TUESDAY FOR
THE TAHOE BASIN THROUGH WESTERN LASSEN COUNTY DUE TO GUSTY WINDS
AND LOW HUMIDITY...

* CHANGES...None.

* Affected Area...Fire Zone 271 Western Lassen, Eastern Plumas,
  Eastern Sierra, and Eastern Nevada Counties and Fire Zone 272
  Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* Winds...Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts of 30 to 35 mph.
  Higher gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible along upper mid-
  slopes and wind prone areas with gusts of 70-90 mph along the
  Sierra Crest.

* Humidity...4-12% this afternoon becoming 15-25% overnight.

* Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can
  cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first
  responders can contain them.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid outdoor activities that can cause a spark near dry
vegetation, such as yard work, target shooting, or campfires.
