central New York.

   Winter Weather Advisory.

Behind a strong storm system west to northwest winds will increase
with gusts to 45 mph or stronger Sunday night through Monday night.
This, combined with the cold air temperatures could also lead to
cold weather headlines with wind chills dropping to -15F by Monday
night.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING
TO 1 AM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
  accumulations 3 to 6 inches and ice accumulations around one
  quarter of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph Sunday and
  Sunday night.

* WHERE...Erie, Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Genesee, Wyoming,
  Livingston, Ontario, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany
  Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 1 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the
  ice. Travel could be become difficult. Gusty winds could bring
  down tree branches and cause isolated power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery
roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while
driving.
