...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow and blowing snow. Total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 3 feet in the most persistent snows. Winds
  gusting as high as 40 mph this evening will cause near whiteout
  conditions at times.

* WHERE...Heavy lake effect snow and blowing snow. Total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 3 feet in the most persistent snows. Winds
  gusting 40 mph tonight.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible, especially
  this evening. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce
  visibility, with near whiteout conditions at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
