...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM WEDNESDAY TO 1 PM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
  12 inches. Wind gusts to 30 mph on Thursday.

* WHERE...Northern Oneida County.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Wednesday to 1 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and
  evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The first round of steady snow moves in
  quickly Wednesday morning and continues through the day. There
  could be a brief lull in the snow Wednesday afternoon or early
  evening before more lake effect and upslope snow develops
  Wednesday night into Thursday. It turns much colder Wednesday
  night into Thursday with increasing winds, and possible blowing
  snow.
