...LOCALLY DENSE FOG ALONG AND NEAR PORTIONS OF THE NIAGARA RIVER
EARLY THIS MORNING...

Area webcams continue to show fog along the the Niagara River
from the vicinity of Grand Island northward into southwestern
Niagara county early this morning...including portions of the
Niagara Falls area. Some of this fog is locally dense in
spots...with visibilities down to a quarter mile or less.

If you will be travelling through this area early this morning...
be sure to slow down and be prepared for rapid changes in
visibility. The fog is expected to dissipate after sunrise.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central New York.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

It`s possible that heat indicies could reach the mid to upper 90s
across portions of the Niagara Frontier and Genesee Valley, and the
lower elevations of the Finger Lakes and North Country Wednesday and
Thursday.

There will also be an increasing potential for slow-moving showers
and thunderstorms Wednesday through Thursday...some of which could
produce localized heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
