...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8
  inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph resulting in
  significant blowing snow.

* WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, Northern Erie, and Genesee counties.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through early Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult with very poor visibility
  and snow covered roadways. The hazardous conditions could impact
  the morning commute on Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Begin needed preparations at home or with your vehicle. Travel
may become difficult, so plan accordingly.

...LAKESHORE FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY
NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Lakeshore flooding possible.

* WHERE...Lake Erie shore of Erie and Chautauqua counties.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Strong west southwest winds may result in a rapid
  rise in water levels. Flooding along the shoreline is
  possible, especially in bays and inlets and other low lying
  shoreline areas. Water may spray across Route 5 in Hamburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
