Frigid Arctic air and gusty winds will also move in behind the
storm tomorrow afternoon through Monday, with very cold temperatures
and dangerously low wind chills as well as areas of blowing snow.
Continue to monitor the forecast as details become more certain.

Including the cities of Boonville, Penn Yan, Seneca Falls,
Auburn, and Syracuse

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 14 to 19
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...In New York, Northern Oneida, Onondaga, Yates, Seneca
  and Southern Cayuga counties.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Sunday. The heaviest snow is expected this
  evening into early Sunday morning. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2
  inches per hour are expected during this time with an intense
  band of 3 inches per hour likely moving into the Finger Lakes
  and NY Thruway corridor for a time overnight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult to
  impossible. Also, winds will pick up considerably Sunday
  afternoon, causing blowing snow and dangerously low wind chills
  into Sunday night and Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
