This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York and
northeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Most rivers are receding now, though high runoff from heavy rain
earlier this week continues to impact portions of central NY and
northeast PA. This includes ongoing flood warnings for a few rivers
and lakes. Please continue to heed any remaining road closures.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Another round of rain is expected Friday night into Saturday. There
is a potential for areas of heavier rain, which could lead to more
flooding. Be sure to monitor the forecast for details and updates.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in New

  Onondaga Lake At Liverpool affecting Onondaga County.

For the Finger Lakes/seneca/oswego River...including Nedrow, Ithaca,
Auburn, Ithaca, Geneva, Oneida, Liverpool, Auburn...Moderate
flooding is forecast.


Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...The Flood Warning remains in effect...

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Onondaga Lake At Liverpool.
* Until further notice.
* At 4:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 366.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 366.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum lake stage in the 24 hours ending at
  4:30 AM EDT Thursday was 366.2 feet. It has been holding nearly
* Forecast...The lake is expected to very slowly creep up to about
  366.5 feet by Saturday.
* Impact...At 366.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Trails at Onondaga Lake
  Park are flooded. Marina usage is also impacted. Areas downstream
  of the lake, in the vicinity of Hayes Road, may be affected by
  flood waters.
