This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northeast Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Most areas will see less than two inches of snow today with two to
four inches of snow across south central and southern Vermont. The
snow will end before midnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

The potential for snow squalls will exist on Wednesday. The snow
squalls will have the potential to produce quick bursts of heavier
snow and sharply reduced visibilities. Expect the snow squalls during
the late morning and early afternoon hours across northern New York
and then over Vermont during the early to mid afternoon hours. The
snow squalls are associated with a strong cold front that moves
across the area on Wednesday. Sharply falling temperatures will occur
behind the front which could make any snow covered roads icy and
continue to cause difficult travel conditions on one of the busiest
travel days of the year. Dry conditions are expected on Thanksgiving
but high temperatures will be about 25 degrees below normal for this
time of year with highs only in the single digits and teens.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
