...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
  of 5 to 10 inches possible in the most persistent lake effect
  snow bands.

* WHERE...Northern Oneida, Onondaga, Madison and Southern Oneida
  counties.

* WHEN...From this evening through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
  conditions could impact this evening`s and Thursday`s morning
  commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow will fall overnight into
  Thursday morning. Snowfall rates could exceed 1 to 2 inches per
  hour at times in narrow bands.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Narrow bands of heavy snow could impact portions of the region.
Localized travel problems will be possible.
