Syracuse, Hamilton, Oneida, Rome, Utica, Cortland, Norwich,
and Oneonta

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 7 to
  12 inches expected.

* WHERE...Northern Oneida, Otsego, Chenango, Cortland, Onondaga,
  Madison, Southern Oneida, Seneca, and Southern Cayuga Counties.

* WHEN...Snow overspreads the region late this evening. Snowfall
  will be very heavy at times from the late evening into the
  overnight with rates of 1-3 inches per hour at times. Snow
  should begin to taper off by late morning Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be difficult to nearly
  impossible into the overnight. Hazardous conditions will impact
  the morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
