This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

   Winter Weather Advisory.

A very cold and blistery Arctic airmass will push into the area
Thursday and Friday, likely bringing the coldest temperatures and
wind chills of the season. Scattered lake effect snow showers and
snow squalls will also be possible, potentially impacting travel at
times.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed. Please relay any
information about severe weather to the NWS while following local,
state and CDC guidelines.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TUESDAY TO 7 AM
EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5
  inches.

* WHERE...Northern Oneida, Madison, Southern Oneida and Otsego
  counties.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Tuesday to 7 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A band of steady light snow will lift
  across the region Tuesday morning, and will stall out along or
  just north of the New York State Thruway in the early afternoon.
  Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches will be common, with
  3 to 5 inches north of the Thruway.
