...PATCHY ICE POSSIBLE EARLY THIS MORNING...

Temperatures are mostly above freezing across the area. However,
there are a few locations where air temperatures or ground
temperatures are at freezing, and patchy ice will be possible.

There have been a few reports of black ice and accidents in this
area. Exercise caution when traveling this morning, and do not
assume roadways are just wet. There may be slick spots.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Patchy light freezing rain or freezing drizzle is still possible
early this morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Mild temperatures will continue to melt our snowpack through Tuesday.
In addition, a period of steady rain is anticipated Tuesday morning.
These factors will increase runoff into area rivers, creeks, and
streams, which could cause additional ice jams to form.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
