This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,
western Massachusetts, eastern New York and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Heat index values will likely exceed 95 degrees during the afternoon
and evening hours on Monday through Tuesday in valley areas. Heat
Advisories will likely be needed for valley areas for these days, and
could extend into Wednesday for some valley areas from Albany south
and east.

There is a chance of thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday, mainly
during the afternoon and evening hours. The Storm Prediction Center
has placed portions of the western Mohawk Valley, Schoharie County
and eastern Catskills within a Marginal Risk for severe
thunderstorms Monday into Monday night, and again Tuesday for much
of eastern New York and western New England.


Spotter activation may be needed Monday through Wednesday.
