This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,
western Massachusetts, east central New York and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible mainly for
areas west of the Hudson River and across the southern
Adirondacks. Some storms will produce locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There is a chance for thunderstorms Wednesday. There is a marginal
threat some storms could become severe with damaging wind gusts for
areas to the south and east of the Capital District during the
afternoon into the early evening hours.

In addition, storms will be to be capable of producing heavy rain
which will cause some flooding of poor drainage and low lying areas.
Isolated flash flooding possible especially for areas along and south
of Interstate 90.

Also, hot and humid conditions will develop for Friday, Saturday and
Sunday with heat indices potentially exceeding 100 degrees during
the afternoon hours. Heat Advisories and or Excessive Heat Warnings
may need to be issued.


Spotter activation may be needed.
