This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Mohawk and Schoharie
Valleys, Helderbergs, eastern Catskills, Capital District, mid Hudson
Valley and Taconics of eastern New York, northwestern Connecticut,
and western Massachusetts.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon into
early evening. Widespread showers and embedded thunderstorms are
expected today along a cold front during the afternoon and early
evening hours. Gusty winds are likely along the front, with possible
scattered damaging wind gusts capable of downing trees, tree limbs
and powerlines.

In addition, locally heavy rainfall may result in ponding of water
on roadways and other low lying areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.


Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon into early evening.
