...WIND CHILL WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM FRIDAY TO NOON EST
SATURDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central New York and
eastern New York.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A strong cold front will bring snow showers and possible snow
squalls late this evening into the early overnight hours. Brief heavy
snow and blowing snow will result in poor visibility and a quick
coating to 2 inches of snowfall. Those traveling should allow extra
time and be prepared for slow travel conditions while the snow
showers and squalls move across the region.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

...WIND CHILL WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM FRIDAY TO NOON EST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low
  as 25 to 40 below zero.

* WHERE...The Mohawk and Schoharie Valleys, Helderbergs and
  eastern Catskills.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Friday to noon EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause
  frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The lowest wind chills are expected Friday
  night into early Saturday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid outside activities if possible. When outside, make sure you
wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
